In this role, you’ll conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop personalized treatment plans, and prescribe medications as permitted by state regulations, all while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Role as Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant:
The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant provides advanced patient care under the supervision of the Medical Director and may also be directed by the Nurse Supervisor for the clinic in accordance with state licensure guidelines. This position evaluates and monitors treatment of patients as part of a collaborative healthcare team and may prescribe medication as permitted by state regulation.
Role Responsibilities:
Education & Experience Requirements:
Previous experience in addiction recovery or behavioral health settings, such as outpatient, residential, or correctional facilities preferred
Familiarity with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), including methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone.
Familiarity with state regulatory standards (e.g., 42 CFR Part 2, HIPAA, Joint Commission standards).
No history of alcohol or drug misuse for a period of three years before employment
