Overview

Conway Behavioral Health Hospital near Little Rock, Arkansas treats adults and adolescents with a variety of mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, and co-occurring addiction. Our goal is to ensure Little Rock’s North Metro community has access to world-class mental health treatment. Each patient receives comprehensive services in an atmosphere of dignity and respect.

 

Child and Adolescent psychiatry patients require care from specialty-trained professionals, in a highly-specialized, and quality-focused inpatient environment. We are currently seeking to add a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to our skilled and patient focused team.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing clinical services to patients at the facility.
• Practice within medical protocols defined by federal and state regulations, as well as by corporate, facility policy or procedures.
• Review medical information on patients to ensure medical stability and to offer medical recommendations.
• Evaluate patients for mental, emotional or behavioral disorders.
• Treat or direct treatment of patients, utilizing a variety of psychotherapeutic methods and medications.
• Review and complete medical information for individual care plans, documents services and information in a timely manner.
• Maintain confidential documentation, compliance and billing in accordance with the policy and procedures.



Qualifications

Qualifications:

 

• Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible (0-5 years of residency) in Psychiatry required.

• One or more years’ post graduate degree practice preferred.

• Licensed Psychiatrist in the state of Arkansas.

• Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state of Arkansas.

Advanced knowledge and clinical skills through an appropriate educational program.
• Ability to work hours to meet the needs of our clients.
• Experience in child/adolescent treatment preferred.
