Overview

Serenity Knolls is recruiting for an Advanced Practice Provider to join our staff 4 days a week onsite. 

The ideal candidate would have prior interest and experience in either an inpatient or residential treatment facility as a Advanced Practice provider. The team at Serenity Knolls is seeking to add a like-minded Nurse Practitioner to join their team.

Qualifications:
• Licensed APP or NP able to practice in the state of CA
• Advanced knowledge and clinical skills through an appropriate educational program
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a practicing nurse practitioner
• DEA License
• Experience in addiction treatment preferred

VAILABLE SHIFTS AND HOURS
This is a full-time therapist position. Shifts are Friday-Tuesday 8-hours, 5 days per week, and are overtime eligible.
RATE OF PAY: $100.00-$115.00 per hour with the higher rate responsible for on call

Responsibilities

Summary:

  • Makes a comprehensive physical assessment of patients consistent with training and education;
  • Performs physical examinations on patients admitted for medication maintenance;
  • Ensures physician medication orders are being followed. Refers patients to appropriate physicians and consults with the supervising physician;
  • Evaluates patient care, adjusting the plan of care based on outcomes, diagnostic test results, and patient feedback;
  • Provides patient and staff education on medication maintenance;
  • Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations, CARF Standards, and clinic policy and procedure;
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, from an accredited college or university
  • Previous experience in behavioral health facility/clinic preferred
  • No history of alcohol or drug misuse for a period of three years before employment

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice in the state in which the clinic operates.
  • DEA license.
