West Pines Behavioral Health in Wheat Ridge, Colorado is 20 minutes from Denver. We are recruiting a Chief Medical Officer to clinically lead psychiatric services and provide administrative oversight to our new, 2 story 144-bed acute treatment center specializing in treating men and women who are experiencing behavioral or mental health crisis. This leadership position requires an enthusiastic, motivated individual who is constantly striving to improve patient care and safety. The appropriate candidate will have the ability to develop camaraderie with multiple teams, excellent communication skills and the ability to envision, as well as produce, change with a focus on innovating care to be more patient-centered and to meet the changing needs of an ever-evolving healthcare landscape. Three-five years’ experience is essential, sub specialization, though beneficial, is not required.

West Pines Behavioral Health is a joint venture partnership between Intermountain Health in Denver, and Acadia Healthcare, Inc. Acadia Healthcare is the largest, purely behavioral health and drug treatment services in the US. Acadia provides services to the 75,000 patients we see daily in a variety of settings, including inpatient psychiatric hospitals, specialty treatment facilities, residential treatment centers and outpatient clinics.
The range for this position is $340,000 to $415,000
*Total compensation may vary based on additional services, including call coverage, administrative services, performance bonus, etc. Compensation may also vary based on productivity after initial guarantee period.
